Winter Tree Identification in the Arnold Arboretum

On Saturday, the Youth Leadership Team joined the Olmsted Center for Landscape Preservation’s Branching Out youth for a Winter Tree Identification walk in the Arnold Arboretum. The Leadership Team learned how to use a dichotomous key to identify leafless winter trees based on characteristics such as bark and leaf scars.
